Biography
Jaewon Choi (최재원) is the President of the Katija Hyoungjoo Neuber Institute, the youth-led think tank of the DMUN Foundation. As President he sets the Institute’s direction and represents it to partners and the public.
He holds the presidency alongside his role as Founder and Executive Director of the DMUN Foundation, an international non-governmental organisation dedicated to the service and advocacy of children and youth, with 27,284 members across 172 countries and territories.
At the United Nations he serves as Thematic Focal Point for Tax of the Major Group for Children and Youth, and delivered the opening statement on behalf of children and youth at the 2026 High-Level Political Forum, reported as the youngest opening speaker in the forum’s history.
